Technology Plan

» Educational Technology Plan
County offices of education, school districts, and direct-funded charter schools are encouraged to develop a technology plan outlining technology support in 7 areas.

These 7 areas include:

spacer3. Infrastructure, Hardware, Technical Support, and Software
spacer4. Funding and Budget
spacer5. Monitoring and Evaluation
spacer6. Effective Collaborative Strategies with Adult Literacy Providers to Maximize the Use of Technology
spacer7. Effective, Researched-Based Methods and Strategies.

An approved technology plan is required to receive educational technology funds. E-rate requires approved technology plans as a prerequisite for receiving Internet access or internal connections discounts. For additional information regarding technology plans, please visit
